Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the phase precision in the diameter direction of each spline part because there is no excessive thickness nor underfill, of a spline shaft, the spline part is lubricated and scratch and burr are not generated at the time of knockout, and forging is executed in one process. CONSTITUTION:A stock having a large diameter part 9, and a first diameter part 10 and a second small diameter part 11 in both ends in the axial direction of the large diameter part, and having a first tapered part 12 for connecting the large diameter part and a first small diameter part, and a second tapered part 13 for connecting the large diameter part and a second small diameter part is prepared in advance, and while expanding the diameter of the end part vicinity 12a of a first small diameter part side and a second small diameter part to the outside diameter of a spline shaft, a spline part is formed in a first small diameter part, the large diameter part and a first tapered part and a second small diameter part, respectively, and also, a hole for communicating with a die sinking space of a die of a forging device is provided, and when forging is completed, a lubricant is supplied to the vicinity of the spline part of the spline shaft from the hole.
