Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an atomic frequency standard device for relaxing or overcoming at least a part of the defects of an atomic frequency standard device. CONSTITUTION: A heating means 58 for surrounding an enclosure 43 for forming a microwave void 42 is provided, and heat is supplied to an absorption cell 41 inside the void. The absorption cell 41 is surrounded by electrodes 45a-45b, and the oscillation magnetic field of an absorption cell region is reinforced and directed. The electrodes 45a-45b are connected to the enclosure 43 by thermal transmission members 47a-47b, and the temperature of the cell is controlled appropriately, while maintaining advantages by the pressure of the electrodes 45a-45b.
