PURPOSE: To provide a wind direction/wind velocity measuring system for a vehicle in which the velocity and the direction of wing with respect to the advancing direction of the vehicle can be determined and the temporal variation of the wind velocity can be displayed in order to assist weather forecast.

CONSTITUTION: The wind direction/wind velocity measuring system for vehicle comprises means 5 for detecting the advancing direction of a vehicle, means 6 for detecting the vehicle speed from the wheel speed thereof, and means 2, 4, 8 for detecting the hightest velocity of air flow functioning on the vehicle and the direction thereof. The measuring system further comprises means 14 for computing the direction and velocity of wind with respect to the advancing direction of the vehicle by subtracting the output vector of the vehicle speed detecting means from the output vectors of the velocity detecting means 2, 4, 8, a memory section 15 for storing the output data from the operating means 14 at every moment, and means 14, 17, 16 for displaying the data stored in the memory section 15.
