Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low exothermic high-early-strength cement which exhibits low temp. rise when it is used for producing mass concrete and which shows early strength developing property with the age of 7 days, which property is equivalent to or better than the early strength developing property which is obtained when the high-early-strength portland cement is used and to provide concrete having improved early strength for the age of 7 days, adiabatic temp. rise or the like, which is obtained by combining the low exothermic high-early- strength cement. SOLUTION: The low exothermic high-early-strength cement is comprised of a mixture of 75 to 90 wt.% high-early-strength portland cement and 10 to 25 wt.% high belite cement. Limestone powder can be added to this cement. Concrete is preferably produced by adding a high performance AE water reducer containing a sulfonic acid salt as a main component or an accelerating agent containing a nitrogen-containing inorganic compound as a main component to the cement and kneading.
