Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a reaction product of a polymer for paint with a wax having functional group, giving a coating film having excellent lubricity, keeping a lubricant on the surface of the coating film, free from contamination of contacting object with lubricant and suitable for the application to metals. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains a reaction product of (A) a polyolefin wax having carboxyl group or hydroxyl group [preferably oxidized polyethylene or an ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer] or a natural wax (preferably carnauba wax or montan wax) with (B) a coating polymer having functional group reactive with carboxyl group or hydroxyl group. The reaction product preferably contains 5-90wt.% of the component A and 30-90wt.% of the component B.
