PURPOSE: To automatically discharge journal paper whose printing ends and its winding core and to automatically load new journal paper.

CONSTITUTION: A journal paper inserting port 3, a discharging port 5 and a winding core discharging port 4 are arranged on the outside of a door for an ATM body and the insertion of unused (unprinted) journal paper and the discharge of printed journal paper are executed without opening the door of the ATM body, so that operability is improved. The exitence of a winding core for journal paper is detected by a sensor 34, and after the end of printing on the journal paper, the core is discharged. Thereby optional journal paper can be used independently of the existence of a winding core. The end of journal paper is detected by detecting the final end of a printed journal by a sensor 35 and the discharge and loading of journal paper can automatically be executed without manual operation.
