Abstract:
PURPOSE: To develop excellent damping properties by making a multilayer yarn structure from fiber layers of different kinds and strengthening the bonds between individual fiber layers.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fibers mutually differing in their melting points and largely in their weights are mixed at a prescribed ratio, the mixed fibers are subjected to a centrifugal force to form a belt of silver. The silvers are folded several times for lamination to form a web. The web is heated with hot air to fuse the fibers of lower melting points.
