PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of turbulence noises as the air flow admitted into a suction fan is regulated by a flow regulating grid and to improve suction efficiency and to decrease noises as there is no light shielding plate to hinder the air flow in a discharge side of a suction fan.
CONSTITUTION: The flow regulating 8 integrated with light shielding parts 8a and flow regulating parts 8b is provided between a reflection plate 7 and suction fan 9. A light absorptive coating material is applied in the light shielding parts 8a to absorb light 4c unnecessary for projection and to convert this light to heat. The air from the outside of a casing 2 is admitted into the casing 2 and air flow 11a is generated by driving the suction fan 9. The air flows 11b, 11c absorbing the heat of the light source 3 and the reflection plate 7 flow in from the intake port of the flow regulating grid 8 and are regulated during the passage through the flow regulating part 8b. The air flow 11d in which the disturbance components are decreased flows out. This air flow 11d flows into the suction fan 9 and is discharged as the air flow 11e to the outside of the casing 2.
