PURPOSE: To provide a learning method and device by which a user can grasp English words to be learned in every school year by himself, and he can learn by heart efficiently.

CONSTITUTION: A card sheet 1 for learning made by recording English words and their translations to be learned in every school year, on both the front side and the rear side of a foil form magnetic paper making into a pair, and cutting it in a card form so as to form individual word cards; a memorizing card housing mat to adsorb and arrange word cards 2e in memorizing allowable to mount and demount; a memorized card applying mat to adsorb and arrange word cards 2e already memorized allowable to mount and demount; and a grammar application memory sheet to learn the memorized English words by a sentence example question, and to display the right answer and the wrong answer as a list; are provided, and the learning system is composed to learn the grammar application, as well as to learn by transferring the word card 2e to the next step according to the progress of the learning. And as to English words liable to be mistaken, the word card 2e is transferred to a portable special training mat, and a user must learn repeatedly by carrying it always.
