Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of a welding connecting section and a corrosion protective layer, and to reduce the generation of an arc-tracking simultaneously by forming a wedge-shaped pocket to the cylindrical external surface of a connecting pin and manufacturing a pipe member and a connecting molded form of thermoplastics, such as polyether ether ketone. CONSTITUTION: Pipe members forming guide frames 1 are connected mutually by different connecting molded forms. The connecting molded forms are formed of T-shaped members 8, eye heads 9, connecting bridges 10, etc. When the pipe members and the connecting molded forms are assembled, connecting pins 11 are installed respectively. The connecting pins 11 have pockets 20 at an opening angle of 60 deg. and coated with an adhesive until the pockets 20 are filled. Consequently, the pipe members and the connecting molded forms can be bonded in a non-frictional engaging manner. Accordingly, not only an advantage in weight can be obtained but also a connecting section can be eliminated by welding, and the generation of an arc-tracking can be reduced.
