PURPOSE:To form a thin phthalocyanine film by a method ensuring higher productivity than vapor deposition without deteriorating the functional properties of phthalocyanine. CONSTITUTION:A thin film of a dicyano compd. or a mixture of the dicyano compd. with a metallic salt is formed on a substrate and external energy is applied to the thin film to form a thin phthalocyanine film.
