PURPOSE: To protect a required portion of a packed body with a packing sheet gather face, to reduce the use of the packing sheet and to simplify the operation of taking out the packed body by forming overlapped gathers sticking portion on the required portion of the packing sheet.

CONSTITUTION: Suitable both ends of a packing sheet 2 are folded so as to be formed into approximately a zigzag shape by a gather forming means, thereby gathers 3 are formed. A suitable size of the gathers 3 are formed by being stuck with heat sealing, paste sticking and so on. Respective gathers 3 of the packing paper 2 are positioned, wound, folded in a part 9 requiring the protection of the packed material 1 and in a part requiring the strength, so as to pack the packing material. In order to easily open it, perforation line-shaped, half-cut shaped, folded ruled line-shaped formed by being applied with a strong pressure, or the like, broken lines 8 suitable for a quality of the material of the packing sheet 2 are formed on the gathers 3. Therefore, since the part requiring the protection can be formed so as to be thick, while the part not requiring the protection can be formed so as to be thin, the packing sheet can be saved.
