Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lens position detection device capable of easily, accurately and continuously detecting a position.

CONSTITUTION: The lens position detection device A is provided with a turning shaft 14 turned by interlocking with the rotation of a cam barrel 3 moving a lens group in an optical axis direction and a cylindrical magnet 15 is fixed to the shaft 14. The magnet 15 is formed by changing the density of magnetic flux along a turning direction by turns. Then, magnetic force generated from the rotating magnet 15 is detected by a Hall element sensor 17 fixed at a fixed position. At the magnet 15, the different magnetic force corresponding to the moving position of the lens group is detected.
