PURPOSE: To make a sheet bundle on a bin transferable to such a position as being excellent in operability and ease of takeout by providing both first and second sheet transferring means, while making the bin have a chevroned part with a ridgeline in the traveling direction of the first transferring means, and forming the chevroned part into flatness in a circumferential part where the second transferring part operates.
CONSTITUTION: A sorter 100 is of bin moving type sorter, and bin trays (b) to be stacked in piles in the vertical direction goes up or down piece by piece by means of one rotation of a spiral cam 4 to be installed at both sides. A chevroned part (bb) or stiffening projection of a sheet necessary in time of matching by a matching bar 19 is formed on a surface of the bin tray (b), and an operating peripheral part (ba) of a reference bar 22 is formed into flatness. Although a push-up angle of this reference bar 22 is set to be minimum, a tilt angle lying somewhere short of the sheet copying after the flatness part (ba) on a bin surface, so that at the time of pushing a sheet bundle, a sheet rear end can be smoothly pushed up without hotching it, whereby reliability for transferring the sheet bundle is well improved.
