Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a part other than an effective input area simply from misinput and to make the mounting structure of a protection cover easy by covering the part other than the effective input area completely with an insulating member. CONSTITUTION:The insulating member 4 is arranged like dots on the whole effective input area on the surface 2a of a substrate and also arranged on its periphery so as to cover the whole electrode surface 2a other than the effective area like a band. Therefore, electrodes 1a, 1b are not connected at the part other than the effective input area which is covered with the insulating member 4, so that no input is performed even if the part is depressed with a writing tool. Consequently, misinput can be simply prevented. Since the part other than the effective area on the electrode surface 2a is converted with the insulating member 4, the protection cover 3 can be directly brought into contact with a flexible sheet 1. Thus, the mounting structure of the protection cover can be simplified.
