Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remarkably improve the attachment efficiency of rolling oil when applying rolling oil by injecting it on a strip from a nozzle as an emulsion, and to remarkably improve a plate-out property.
CONSTITUTION: When rolling a strip by a rolling mill, in a method supplying rolling oil, in which an emulsion is injected on a strip surface from a nozzle after mixing rolling oil with water to produce emulsion, flocculating agent is added to palm oil (rolling oil) to increase the grain diameter of the rolling oil in the emulsion, and a pressure required for injecting the emulsion from the nozzle, is set between ≥5kg/cm2 and ≤15kg/cm2.
