Abstract:
PURPOSE:To readily reproduce a source from lees of low-class distilled spirits and to treat lees of low-class distilled spirits by hydrolyzing lees of low-class distilled spirits with an acid, separating the lees into a saccharide solution and a fibrous material, reusing the saccharide solution as a raw material saccharide solution and treating the fibrous material by waste water treatment and incineration. CONSTITUTION:Lees of low-class distilled spirits (a) formed in a brewing process of low-class distilled spirits are blended with an acid (b) such as crystal oxalic acid by an autoclave 5, hydrolyzed under heating, blended with neutralized with calcium carbonate (c) and active carbon (d) in a neutralizing tank 6 and separated by a filter press 8 into a saccharide solution and solid content. The saccharide solution is reused as raw material saccharide solution (i) and the solid content has <=10,000ppm BOD value and treated by incineration, etc., outside the system as waste (h) in a state to be made into a completely harmless state by waste water treatment and incineration.
