PURPOSE: To improve usability and to protect an operating element from breakage at the time of not using it by arranging an operating element in a direct access region of an operator and providing an operating board free to open and close free to store a display free to rotate around two shafts making an angle against it.

CONSTITUTION: This display and operating unit 20 prvided on a driver's stand of a mobile crane has a casing 22 stored in a base 21, and an insertion body 31 in size to close an insertion opening 23 is arranged free to move (free to be stored) in the vertical direction by a guide means in the insertion opening 23 directed upward. A display 30 is provided on an upper surface of this insertion body 31 free to revolve around a revolving shaft 32 and a vertical shaft 34. Additionally, an operating board 26 provided with a large number of function keys 27 on the inner surface side is pivotally supported on one end side of the insertion opening 23 free to open and close by a pivotally installed shaft 24, and the insertion opening 23 is closed by revolution of the operating board 26 in a state where the display 30 is stored in the casing 22.
