Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly enhance dehydration efficiency without the occurrence of clogging by extending and inserting a shaft part and screw parts into a drum which is connected to the opening-like end of a cylindrical body and has numerous small holes and mounting a motor and a rotating device on the outer periphery of this drum. SOLUTION: This screw type device (a) for sepn. of solid from waste muddy water is constituted by inserting the shaft part 11 and the screw parts 12 mounted at every other prescribed spacing at the shaft part 11 into the slender cylindrical body 3 opened at one end and hermetically closed at the other end. A motor 34 and a reduction gear, etc., are mounted at the shaft part 11 projecting from the hermetic end of the cylindrical body 3. The hermetic end of the cylindrical body 3 is provided with a floc inflow port 22 for pouring the flocs sent from a flocculating reaction vessel. The drum 9 which has the same diameter as the diameter of the cylindrical body 3, has a prescribed length and is formed with the numerous small holes 10' is connected to an opening 8 of the cylindrical body 3. The shaft 11 and screw parts 12 in the cylindrical body 3 are extended and inserted into the drum 9. The rotating devices, such as motor 34, sprocket 35 and chain 36, are mounted on the outer periphery of the drum 9.
