PURPOSE: To perform the stable feed of a work even in a wet state without installing a drying process by a method wherein movement of a second work is blocked by a stopper for separation in a state that works adhered to each other owing to a moisture content are laterally moved.

CONSTITUTION: When a lead frame 2 entering a magazine 1 is raised and brought into contact with a guide 11, an elevator 7 is stopped. Meanwhile, when a link roller 18 is brought into contact with first lead frame 31, it is raised togetherwith the lead frame 31 and a stopper roller 17 is also raised and stopped in linkage therewith. From this state, a guide 11 is advanced rightward with a load being exerted on the lead frame 31 and the lead frame 31 is delivered. In this case, a second lead frame 32 is brought into contact with the stopper roller 17 and stopped. When the lead frame 31 is delivered by a given width, the guide 11 is escaped. In this case, a chuck 20 is advanced in the direction of the work and catches the package part of the lead frame 31 and pulls out the lead frame to transfer it to a conveyor.
