PURPOSE: To utilize as a reinforcing bar or tendon in a concrete to provide a good engaging effect.

CONSTITUTION: A FRP bar including reinforcing materials, wherein braided cords comprising strands of carbon fibers are braided around carbon fiber bundles formed by uniformly stretching strands of carbon fibers in one direction, is braided by means of a braiding machine around carbon fiber bundles formed by stretching strands of carbon fibers in one direction and impregnating the bundles with uncured epoxy resin to form braided cords. Uncured epoxy resin is impregnated into the baided cords, which is then heated to simultaneously cure the epoxy resin contained in the carbon fiber bundles and the epoxy resin impregnated into the braided cords.
