PURPOSE: To attain quick special reproduction by reading information stored in a buffer section at an optional time interval when a terminal equipment receiving information and storing the information to a buffer section receives a command of special reproduction such as fast feeding during reproduction.

CONSTITUTION: A terminal equipment 100 receives multi-media information such as image information and audio information at its communication processing section 110 through a transmission line 190 and stores the information to a buffer section 120. A control section 130 managing the stored multi-media information controls an R/W section 150 extracting the multi-media information from the buffer section 120 according to a command from a command input section 140 receiving a command to the terminal equipment 100 for reproduction or special reproduction. The multi-media information extracted and coded is decoded by a decoding section 160 and the signal reproduced or specially reproduced is outputted to a display section 170 and a speaker section.
