Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of generating a sweep solid in which a feature included in a track curve is reflected without being influenced by torsion due to a change in curvature and expressing a synthesized sweep solid by a general curve format. CONSTITUTION:This sweep solid generating device is provided with a feature curve calculating part 8 for calculating a feature curve on an optional point on a track curve, a feature curve arranging part 7 for arraging the feature curve on both the end point of the track curve, a solid generating method judging part 9 for judging whether an approximating method is to be used for the generation of a sweep solid based upon the track curve and the feature curves arranged on both the end points of the track curve or not, a section sweep solid generating part 10 for generating a sweep solid at the time of judging that the approximating method is not used, an approximate section sweep solid generating part 11 for properly adding the feature curve to the track curve and approximately generating a solid at the time of judging its use, an inter-curved surface matching part 12 for matching continuation between adjacent solids in a section sweep solid obtained by respective sweep solid generating parts 10, 11, and a solid synthesizing part 13 for synthesizing one sweep solid from respective solids.
