PURPOSE: To provide an elevator control device having an MPU board capable of eliminating a work required for loading the board with a program or the like, and requiring no adjustment even at the time of changing the board.

CONSTITUTION: An MPU board 1a has a data area 6d for storing a subroutine program 7n corresponding to each type of a peripheral device 7n, a judgement program 6b for judging the type of the device 7n connected to an elevator and the second subroutine program 7n corresponding to the device 3n judged with the program 6b, respectively loaded into a subroutine program storage area 5f. Also, an MPU board for storing an auxiliary program 6 consisting of a communication program 6c for writing necessary information for a specification table 5d and the second OS program 6a for operating the program 6c, is provided, thereby automatically judging the peripheral device 7n and setting an operation control program.
