Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the processing quantity and the processing time relating to the retrieval of a link.
CONSTITUTION: Data on a digital rod map database 37 are divided in advance into small areas, and cross-reference between each small area and a link is stored in a link classification storage means 34 as a table. An area collation means 31 obtains the small area relating to a retrieval range and an object link section means 33 selects a link relating to the small area from the table and a link collation means 35 collates the link with links within the retrieval range. Thus, the collation object is limited.
