PURPOSE: To provide a cover type endoscope which enables the bending of an endoscope for a cover mounted on an endoscope cover with a channel freely in a desired direction considering the bending resistance of a bending part of the endoscope for the cover, a flexible part of the endoscope cover with the channel and the like.

CONSTITUTION: An electric wire 68a for an image sensor, a light guide fiber 69, various kinds of tubes 36, 37 and 38 and an endoscope 40 for a cover are arranged inside an endoscope cover 30 to form a cover type endoscope 20. A difference is generated in bending property in vertical and horizontal directions of the cover type endoscope 20 depending on the layout positions of the various kinds of tubes 36, 37 and 38, the bending resistance of an endosope bending part for the cover and that of the tubes 36, 37 and 38 and the like. For this reason, an angle wire fixing part 63 provided on a bending piece 61a is arranged on a center line making a right angle with the center line almost parallel with a bottom surface part of the endoscope 40 for the cover and on the upper side by a specified distance from the center line almost parallel with the bottom surface part of the endoscope for the cover.
