Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the high-quality high-gloss polyester yarn without generating fluff by drawing undrawn polyester yarn having a modified cross section of small haze value of solution under a specific condition, heat-treating and winding.
CONSTITUTION: Undrawn polyester yarn Y having a modified cross section of ≤2.0% haze value of solution is wound on a hot roll 2 and a separate roll 3 several times, preheated and drawn between the hot roll 2 and a hot roll 4. The drawn yarn Y2 heat-treated by the hot roll 4 is run at ≤34m/second traveling speed of a traveler 8 and wound on a pirn 9.
