PURPOSE: To improve workability by a method wherein the lower end of a stud is embedded in a supporting layer under the bottom of excavation of underground space and a temporary frame to be built above ground is supported by a lateral stud and the horizontal cross sectional area of the lower part of the stud is made larger than the horizontal cross sectional area of the body of the lateral stud.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of column setting holes 4 are formed vertically in the ground 1. A lateral stud 10 is inserted into the hole 4. The lower end 11 of the stud 10 is located on a supporting layer 3. The end 11 is joined to the lower end of a body 12. The lower end 11 has an upper plate of steel horizontally joined to the lower end of the body 12 and an H-section steel having a horizontal cross sectional area larger than that of an H-section steel of the body 12 is joined to the underside of the upper plate. Consequently even when strong external lin force due to a wind is exerted on a temporary frame 50, the lower end 11 will not be pulled out of the layer 3 or will not be pushed into the layer 3.
