PURPOSE: To provide an interactive correcting editor capable of Japanizing a data item name, which was not Japanized by an automatic Japanizing means replacing the data item name in program specification with term in Japanese, on an interactive basis.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic Japanizing means 4 outputs a Japanizing-processed specification 30 to a file 3 and outputs the data item name which is not Japanized because terms to be candidates plurally exist and unconverted data item information including the candidate terms to a file 6. The specification 30 is stored in a storage part 120, unconverted data item information is stored in a storage part 121 by a means 11 and they are displayed on a display device 7 by means 13 and 14. When a user selects a no-Japanized data item name in unconverted data item information displayed in the display device 7 and one term which should be used for Japanizing it by operating a key board 8, a correction means 15 corrects the selected data item, name in the specification stored in the storage part 121 by the selected term.
