Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance efficiency in the work of maintainance and inspection by which plural lamps filament disconnection is occurring by monitoring in which plural lamps filaments disconnection is occurring by utilization of the number of times that an AC power source is stopped instantaneously. CONSTITUTION:A main station 7 has a judging portion 6 for filament disconnection and failure, a power source control portion 8, a judging portion 9 for filament disconnection and failure positions, and a required content judging portion 10. The judging portion 6 for filament disconnection and failure is adapted for judging that either of lamps L1, L2,..., Ln disconnected and the result of this judgment is output to the judging portion 9 for filament disconnection and failure position. The power source control portion 8 controls the output of a constant current power source portion 2 and stops the output instantaneously at regular intervals only for a short time irrespective of whether or not there is filament disconnection of any lamp. The judging portion 9 for disconnection and failure positions stores different reference time t1, t2,..., tn for each lamp for detection of filament disconnection and compares this reference time to time at which signals are sent from the judging portion 6 for filament disconnection and failure and further judges the position of any filament disconnected lamp according to signals obtained from the required content judging portion 10.
