Abstract:
In the case of a pair of pliers (1) which have a pair of jaw parts (12, 22) connected to handles (11, 21), the two elements (32, 42) of a pair of dies are in each case arranged rotatably on the inside of one of the jaw parts in the region of its free end, and for securing the coinciding rotational position of the two die elements (32, 42) there is provided a driving member (33'a, 46'), which does not adversely affect the movement of the jaw parts (12, 22). …The pair of dies (32, 24) can consequently be turned according to choice into a rotational position for side introduction or for front introduction of the article to be worked. The pair of pliers is suitable, for example, for use as crimping pliers for electrical contact elements. ……
