Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply and certainly mount a seal material on the outer periphery of the end part of a ribbed pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped retaining mold 3 is mounted on the outer periphery of the end part of a ribbed pipe 1 and a ring-shaped cavity is formed between the ring-shaped ribs 11 adjacent to the retaining mold 3. Then, a seal material 2 such as silicone rubber having flowability is injected into the cavity and solidified to open the retaining mold 3. By this method, the seal material can be simply and certainly mounted on the end part of the ribbed pipe.
