Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive contact pressure measuring device capable of precisely controlling the measuring position of contact pressure without using a pressure sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A machine table 6 is fixed to the slider 5 of a linear servo motor 4 having a fixed relation between thrust and driving current. The machine table 6 is moved while detecting the position of the machine table 6 by a position scale 7 to press the contact surface 6a of the machine table 6 onto a target, and the machine table 6 is then stopped. The driving current of the linear servo motor 4 is detected by a pressure converting circuit 8, and contact pressure is determined from it.
