Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a hydrophilic aluminum fin-material, prominent in forming property and capable of effecting high-speed fin molding work continuously without using any press oil in forming fins and without spoiling hydrophilic performance, by a method wherein a film, having lubricating properties, is formed on one side of an aluminum thin sheet while a hydrophilic film is formed on the other side of the same.

CONSTITUTION: Drawless forming method is constituted of processes of pierce burring (B), first ironing (C), second ironing (D) and reflaring (E). In this case, a second ironing punch 2 is especially and readily receiving abrasion. Accordingly, a film having lubricating property is formed on a surface contacted with the ironing punch 2 and a hydrophilic film is formed on the other side. The film having lubricating properties is constituted of a resin composition, containing 1.0-20 pts.wt. of polyolefin wax and/or fluororesin based on 100 pts.wt. of resin having hydroxide group and/or carboxyl group, for example, and the thickness of the film is 0.05-5.0μm. The hydrophilic film is provided with a resin having hydroxide group and/or carboxyl group and the thickness of the film is 0.1-5.0μm.
