Abstract:
A device for producing moulded bodies, in particular plastic moulded bodies, has a mould base with at least two mould inserts (1) and coolant cavities (2). The mould inserts (1) enclose the moulded body moulding cavity. Also disclosed is a process for producing such a device. Productivity is increased by shorter cycle times in that a heat compensation layer (4) with high thermal conductivity is arranged between the coolant cavities (2) and the moulded body moulding cavity. The device is produced in the following steps: a cavity is produced in the moulded inserts (1), in the area of the future coolant cavities (2); a heat compensation element is prepared; the heat compensation element is inserted and the coolant cavity (2) is arranged; and mould insert (1) and heat compensation element are joined.
