Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery which can prevent the generation of a dendrite in the battery charging time, and can wind an electrode plate group in a spiral form easily
CONSTITUTION: A positive ion exchange membrane (an ion selective membrane) 40c to permit to pass the lithium ion is provided on the surface of a negative electrode active material 40b which consists of lithium or a lithium alloy. An electrode plate group made by laminating positive electrode plates 20 and negative electrode plates 40 through separators 30 is wound in a spiral form in the condition closely contacting them.
