Abstract:
The remote station (2) for working a surface (1), and especially clean a window, has a system to generate an underpressure between it and the window surface, and a drive to move it over the window surface. It is linked to a base station (3) by a supply line (4). The remote and base stations are linked together by an additional safety line (5), with a breaking strain greater than the weight of at least one remote station. The base station is heavier than the remote station, and especially by two or three times its mass, and the base station is anchored at its location.
