Abstract:
In a device for measuring time, especially sporting times, with a video camera (4) with a CCD image converter component (1) and a video synchro frequency of 50 Hz, with a monitor (10), a device (19) for recording and reproducing the exposures taken, especially for reproducing stills, a mixing stage (14) for the input of the video voltage signal from the video camera (4) and for the input of voltage signal data processed for video purposes on the competition times from a time-controlled symbol generator (8), with a switch (12) triggering the starting pulse and a sensor triggering the target pulse, especially a photoelectric barrier, part of the gate electrodes (3) of the CCD image converter component (1) of the video camera (4) is covered, especially on one side, with an opaque, especially foil-like, coating (2). The video camera (4) is supplied with a synchro frequency of 100 Hz by a time controlled synchro generator (7).
