Abstract:
The proposal is for a device and a process for detecting objects. The device comprises two video cameras arranged at a predetermined mutual spacing which record a scene from different angles. The image signals from the video cameras are taken to an evaluation unit and an object is detected on the basis of a comparison of the image signals where the grey values for a given image point differ.
