Abstract:
PURPOSE:To preclude occurrence of damages to or creases of damp ceramic paper by locating a paper forwarding member comprising a plurality of beads and its support rod in each recession of a molding plate in front of a corrugation roller, and setting the diameter of beads to be higher than the projection of the molding plate. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like ceramic paper P is pressed against a molding plate 1 having a cross-sectional corrugation surface by means of a corrugation roller 3 or a press roller 2 having a predetermined configuration of an outer peripheral surface in order that the paper P is worked to have corrugation. In this instance, a paper forwarding member 33 comprising a plurality of beads 31 and a support rod 32 supporting them in a piercing form is located at the front of the corrugation roller 3 in each recession of the molding plate 1. Also, the upper part of the beads is set to be higher than the projection 1b of the molding plate. Accordingly, at the time of the paper P being corrugated and forwarded, the paper P moves in a state raised from the sharp projection of the molding plat 1 to thus prevent the occurrence of breakage, distortion and wirnkles of the paper.
