Abstract:

PURPOSE: To quickly expand exhaust gas in a large diameter part so as to lower the temperature, and reduce a heat quantity transmitted from a connector to an intale manifold so as to dissolve heat influence to the intake manifold, by enlarging the diameter of the extreme end part of an exhaust gas tube into a large diameter part, and fitting the large diameter part to the intake manifold made of synthetic resin through a connector.

CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas tube 4 is connected to the opening 2 of an intake manifold 1 through a connector 3. By forming the extreme end part of the exhaust gas tube into a large diameter part 5, recirculated exhaust gas is quickly expanded in the large diameter part 5 so as to lower the temperature. Consequently a heat quantity transmitted from the connector 3 to the fitting part of the intake manifold 1 is reduced, heat influence is almost eliminated, and hence fitting looseness, air leak, and the like between the intake manifold 1 and the connector 3 are eliminated.
