Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fabric capable of providing woven fabric beauty with deepness due to a pattern composed of warps made to look better by piece dyeing and to provide a method for producing the fabric. SOLUTION: Raw silk of ordinary warp is used as yarns of odd number among warps W and dyed yarn which is not decolored even by scouring and hardly dyed in a different color by piece dyeing, especially reaction dyed black yarn or yarn of reverse printing is used as yarns of even number. A texture is thrust by needles as a contraption for blackening fabric to express a pattern by the black yarn and white of the silk yarn. The warp W comprises 3 silk yarns of 21 Naka (Naka is fineness unit of silk yarn) to 6 silk yarns of 21 Naka, the weft is 8 silk yarns of 21 Naka to 12 silk yarns of 12 Naka in the case of low twist yarn, 3 silk yarns of 21 Naka to 6 silk yarns of 21 Naka in the case of high twist yarn. The low twist yarns and the high twist yarns are woven, as necessary. Consequently, a pattern is shown by a volume rich in change and black and white. The yarns are woven and scoured. In the operation, the woven fabric is made into a crepe with a handle. Afterwards, the woven fabric deals with all piece-dyeings such as Tesashi printing, Yuzen printing, dip dyeing, dyed style printing, extract printing, color brushing, etc.
