Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a drying process and to easily obtain raw material by producing an insulating material for molten metal sprayed on the molten metal surface making hard of one or plural kinds among waste paper, thermosetting waste plastics and the other combustible waste material and non-combustible waste material under using thermosoftening waste plastics as a binder as a piece specifying one side or the diameter. SOLUTION: This insulating material is the piece having 6-25 mm in the one side or the diameter. Blending ratio of the thermosoftening waste plastics is 5-10 wt.%. The producing method of the insulating material for molten metal is composed of a process for mixing the thermosoftening waste plastics at corresponding to 5-10 wt.% into one or plural kinds among the waste paper, the thermosetting waste plastics and the other combustible waste material and non-combustible waste material, a crushing process for crushing the obtd. mixture into 8-80 mm size, a compressing process for compressing the obtd. crushed material by the thermosoftening waste plastics till softening and a grading process for making the obtd. compressed material into the piece having 6-25 mm.
