Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a printer which prevents slack in inside paper and is free of a fold in the inside paper and noise and displacement of print-pitch during printing.
CONSTITUTION: A printer which carries out printing on the inside paper of a book-like medium 2 is comprised of a pressing means (pressure roller A12) which presses around the center-hold of the medium 2; and a sandwiching means (pressure roller B15) which, after it is pressed by the pressing means (pressure roller A 12), sandwiches the front end of the inside paper of the medium 2 pushed in the direction in which the medium is fed. After sandwiching the medium by use of the sandwiching means (pressure roller B15), the printer feeds it.
