PURPOSE: To rapidly process a photosensitive material and to stabilize the quality by charging a processing agent into the processing agent storage means of a processing tank, circulating a processing soln. with a pump and promoting the dissolution of the agent by a dissolving means.
CONSTITUTION: A processing agent J is supplied from the processing agent feeder 10 of a developing tank 1, drops by gravity and is placed on the bottom of a processing agent storage means 4 in a processing tank 3. A processing soln. 6 is circulated through a passage 8 by a pump 2 and introduced into the tank 3. An opening 13 communicated with the storage means 4 is provided in the tank 3, and the soln. 6 is discharged into the storage means 4 of a dissolution part 14. The soln. is allowed to flow along a streamline 12 by a processing agent dissolving means 5 provided in the dissolution part 14, the soln. is injected on the agent as a turbulent flow, and the dissolution is promoted. The soln. thus formed is passed through a filter 9 and recycled by the pump 2.
