Abstract:
Manufacture of filled pastry cases, comprises extruding a flat strip of pastry in extruder (1) and shaping into cases in a hot press mould (2) while still thermoplastic. The pastry is cut (3) between the cases by transverse cutters, then filled (4) as desired. The cases are separated by a longitudinal cutter (5) then collected individually. Also claimed is apparatus for the above process.
