PURPOSE: To prevent the wasteful use of a material and to decrease a cost by a method wherein a comb material is previously formed in a given shape and a molded comb is attached to a support frame through direct welding.

CONSTITUTION: A drip-proof cover 5 is attached to comb support frames 2, for example, two support frames arranged in parallel on both sides, in a position right below a traverse track 1 to which combs are attached. In this case, a comb material is previously molded in a given shape and a comb weld part is molded in a shape conforming to that of a comb support frame 2. The comb weld part is welded to the comb support frame 2 by means of a reinforcing material 4. Protrusions are formed on the upper surfaces of the antislip part and the stopper part of the comb 3 and the under surface of the support frame 2 is joined in flush with the combs 3. Slide gradient are formed on the end faces of the comb 3 and a distance between the drip-proof cover 5 and the comb is kept. Even during the occurrence of mutual interference owing to a fluctuation in a load and an installation precision error, the traverse track 1 is smoothly moved.
