Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a still image pickup device inputting the still image of high accuracy and a wide viewing angle.
CONSTITUTION: A subject on an image-forming surface is separately taken in while overlapping by an image pickup means 2 and a movement means 3, and rotation and movement information between respective images is obtained from the overlapping area of the respective images by an inter-image state detection means 13. An image synthesizing means 12 synthesizes the image which is separately taken in based on the piece of information so that a perfect and highly-accurate still image can be generated even by photographing by holding the device by hand.
