Abstract:
Process for dyeing keratinous fibres, comprising the application of: (a) a component (A) containing at least one rare earth salt in a medium suitable for dyeing, and (b) a component (b) containing, in a medium suitable for dyeing, at least one indole derivative of formula (I): (I) in which: R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R2 and R3, which may be identical or different, denote a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4-alkyl group, a carboxyl group or a (C1-C4 alkoxy)carbonyl group; R4, R5, R6 and R7, which may be identical or different, denote a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl, carboxyl, C1-C4 carboxyalkyl, (C1-C4 alkoxy) carbonyl, (C1-C4 alkoxy)carbonyl(C1-C4 alkyl), carbamyl, halogen, mono- or polyhydroxy(C1-C4 alkyl) or C1-C4 aminoalkyl radical, a group OZ in which Z denotes hydrogen or C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl, an aryl(C1-C4 alkyl) group, a formyl group, a linear or branched C2-C20 acyl group, a linear or branched C3-C20 alkenoyl group, a group -SiR11R12R13, a group -P(O)(OR8)2 or a group R6OSO2-; it being possible for the radicals R4 and R5, or alternatively R5 and R6, or alternatively R6 and R7 to form, together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, a ring optionally containing a carbonyl group, a thiocarbonyl group, a group >P(O)(OR8) or a group >CR9R10; with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R4 to R7 denotes a group OZ or alternatively that R4 and R5, or alternatively R5 and R6, or alternatively R6 and R7 form a ring, R8 and R9 denote a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 lower alkyl group, R10 denotes a C1-C4 alkoxy group or a mono- or di(C1-C4 alkyl)amino group, and R11, R12 and R13, which may be identical or different, denote linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl groups, and the corresponding salts of alkali metals and alkaline-earth metals, ammonium salts and amine salts, or the addition salts of inorganic or organic acids. the components (A) and (B) being applied on the fibres using a single composition, or the component (A) being applied on the fibres prior or subsequent to the application of the component (B).
