Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure safety for passage of cars in areas where dense fog occurs frequently by preventing an effect of fog.
CONSTITUTION: A section X where dense fog occurs frequently on a road 12 that runs through an area where dense fog occurs frequently is covered with a membraneous roof 14 for a distance extending approximately over 500m in the section. The membraneous roof 14 is stretched over a space between the front ends of wall bodies 16 that are erected facing each other on both sides of the road 12. Air curtains are provided to the inlet 14a and the outlet 14b of the membraneous roof 14, and fog is prevented from coming into the inside of the membraneous roof 14.
